Testing
Testing container media can be helpful in determining an ideal mix for a particular application. Testing a peat or coco based media is different than testing typical mineral based garden soil. Particular attention must be given to the mix’s ability to retain and distribute nutrients.
Typical container media tests are water solubility tests, meaning they identify what nutrients are immediately available in the water solution. Our comprehensive testing methods are able to identify the mix’s nutrient holding capacity, as well as its ability to release nutrients over time.
